MARTIN BRANDENBOURGER

I work at IRPHÉ (Aix Marseille University) as a Chargé de Recherche. I'm exploring the fluid and solid mechanics of active systems.

My research is oriented toward the study of phenomena at the junction between the physics of fluids, mechanics and statistical physics.  My group focuses on uncovering how local active forces affect the properties of soft solids and their interaction with their environment, in particular with liquid flows.

I am currently looking for interns, PhD students, and postdocs to work on fluid-structure interactions in active channel networks to work within the scope of my ERC project, Self-Flow. Feel free to contact me if you are interested.
